Default [CLOSED] GXT fails if RTL (right to left) is activated

Since I found nothing mentioned in the documentation how to switch the GXT components to a LTR layout I used the dir attribute on the body <body dir="rtl">. This brought some expected results but there are also a lot of components that do not respect the setting. To name some of the components:
  • TabPanel
  • Button
  • Grid
  • and others
Some of the problems seem to be fixable just by CSS others need code changes as far as I can see. I tried to fix the Button wich needed both - changes in css and changes in code.

Please can you can care for RTL (right to left) languages in GXT

GXT does not yet support RTL. There are also no plans for this for any 2.X version. Marking this as closed.

one tip: please post here your fixes and patches you for the RTL in this components. maybe the solutions would later included ;-)

then more solutions and code snippets are available, then more it is possible to have this in the next gxt releases ;-)
