Hi.

EXT - very useful framework, but existing logotype does not have enough expressiveness.
I apologize for impudence, but I would like to offer the new version of a logotype.

the logo is amazing, but I think Ext = power + subtleness.... and the logo is a bit too funky (plz dont mind, just my opinion).... but the idea of a new logo is exciting.... I hope more designs come up in this thread

Igor you have skills! The logo is very nice. I am not sure how much it fits with Ext though. Like manu said, maybe a slightly less "otherworldly" font?

I tried to make it modern and expressive.
The letter "x" is stylized under two angular brackets:

I agree that work looks futuristic, but I haven't other ideas now.
Maybe inspiration will appear later.

I love the design. In my opinion, futurism is very appealing for eyeballs, especially on IT products.

BTW, Igor's Avatar looks similar to NOD's logo in the famous game Command & Conquer.

I'm waiting impatiently for someone to design the officially licensed Ext t-shirts (maybe with slogan "Extreme JavaScript!" and the extjs.com logo on it?). I would wear one proudly and might even finally retire my old CodeWarrior t-shirt ("Blood Sweat & Code"). ;)
