Considering that treegrid.com locked up my browser (I wanted to see an example), I'd say no. :D

Lol, I think the person was just using treegrid.com as an example. We have been and will continue working with Jack to steer new components in a direction that will be Domino friendly.

Aye, I'm sure it was just Firebug (seems to be getting slower with each new release).

I'm not worried, though -- Jack's always seemed like a Domino-friendly kind of guy to me (something about the Ext framework has always seemed to mesh with Domino for me)! I expect good things out of this in the future.

Only for one level of categorization. :(

Hey, worry not. If it can do one level of categorization, I'm sure more can be done. Since I'm sure we'd just be checking to see if the viewentry had children -- just make it recursive in some way, right?

Looks like it supports multiple levels: http://extjs.com/forum/showpost.php?p=35281&postcount=12

The rigth direction in my opinion is adapt Ext 2.0 grid to Domino for support normal views and categorized views (All of notes domino views) in a widget.

The rest of my domino developing work can I make with Ext framework.

Are you agree?

Yes, the plan is to wait and add support for domino categorized views with Ext 2.0. I think we should be able to also support views with response docs as well with Ext 2.0.
