Looking for a feature I suspect already exists, draggable tabs.
There are many examples, netvibes.com being my favorite.
I just saw this example using yui and wondered if there is one here with ext

This has already been suggested here (post #14) (http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=707&highlight=perspectives) ;)

I don't see the point to this feature. :-/
If you have a CRM, ERP or Project Management application it is common to have multiple "info screens" (tabs) open at once. Sometimes you can't process what's in the first tab you opened, so you move it further "down" (to the right) to process it later.
For intranets it could be possible for people to rearrange 'automatically open tabs' and save the state for next time.
I can see many uses for this feature... although I would rather see 'GridTreeView', 'Timeline' etc. developed first... I admit :">
