Frozen columns

How easy do you think it would be to extend the grid so you could specify that the first x columns are "frozen" so that when you scroll the grid left & right, it keeps those columns visible?

Any thoughts on complexity? Is it something someone else could tackle?

I don't know of anyone who has. It could be done though, it would just take a bit of creativity to do it right. If you want to tackle it, dive in. :)
