Well, I thought the user may not want the overlay.

And the HTML thing, I don't think that would be terribly involved. All we'd have to do is grab the parentNode's innerhtml, and pass that to the editor, wouldn't we?

Scratch the cursor request, we can use CSS if we wanted.

Looks like jack is ahead .. anyway you can enter HTML code in the editable area and it will work if it is a DIV.
